My name is Bob Davis and I am the Webmaster of St. John's Dojos. I am originally from the Port Au Port Peninsula, but have been in St. John's since mid 1988. I created
this site in 1997 to promote the martial arts community here in St. John's, Newfoundland. I have always had a love for Martial Arts, its practice and history. I began the study of
martial arts with Aikido under Sensei Al Skehen from St. John's Aikikai. I currently practice Shotokan Karate under Sensei Paul Bell and Sensei David Bell of the Newfoundland Karate Association, RyuKyu
Kobujutsu under Sensei Derek Ryan from Avalon Kobujutsu, and Aikido under Sensei Bill McDonald and Sensei Kevin McDonald from Fudoshin Aikikai.
