My name is Bob Davis. I am originally from the Port Au Port Peninsula, but have been in St. John's since mid 1988. I started
this site in 1997 to promote the martial arts community here in St. John's, Newfoundland. I have always had a love for Martial Arts, its practice and history. My major disciplines have been the
the practice of Aikido with Sensei Al Skehen from St. John's Aikikai and Shotokan Karate with Sensei Paul Bell and Sensei David Bell from the Newfoundland Karate Association. I recently
started the practice of Kobujutsu with Sensei Derek Ryan from Avalon Kobujutsu.
